Welcome to Little Town: A Taste of New Jersey Pride
Located at 310 Sinatra Dr, Hoboken, NJ, Little Town is a vibrant bar and eatery that encapsulates the spirit of New American cuisine with a local twist. This casual spot is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of New Jersey's rich culinary heritage, devoted to providing a hearty menu in a welcoming atmosphere.
The reason for Little Town's charm is simple: it serves flavors that resonate with both locals and visitors. Here, you can relish Hoboken breakfast sliders, a dish so delectable that it has been praised for its perfect combination of Taylor ham, egg, American cheese, and hollandaise sauce on freshly baked bread—truly a breakfast lover's dream! Another highlight is the rice balls, which Nicole C. describes as "life-changing," a sentiment echoed by many who have tasted them. If you're looking for comfort food that feels like home, this is the place to be.
With a full bar, free Wi-Fi, and even bike parking, Little Town goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite or grabbing dinner with friends, you’ll find that Little Town holds a special place in the hearts of many Hoboken residents. As Casey R. noted, the food is consistently delicious, although service may occasionally lag. But the taste alone is worth the wait, making it a solid choice for any food explorer.
So the next time you find yourself in Hoboken, take a moment to experience Little Town—where every meal is an homage to New Jersey's culinary landscape, and every bite tells a story. Dial (201) 716-7070 for reservations or just swing by for a laid-back evening with friends and family while enjoying the stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
“ I've been here a few times, and I have to say that the Hoboken breakfast sliders are out of this world. You have the Taylor ham, egg, American cheese, and hollandaise sauce on freshly baked bread -- yeah, that's the ticket. The place is never too full, but sometimes it can take some time to get service. The price is okay, but one tip: avoid the soft drinks. The bar is good, but you'll get some watered down soda if that's what you're looking for. Overall, not a bad spot, but four stars solely because of that damn breakfast sandwich! ”
“ I have been to Little Town on four different occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Everyone is super knowledgeable about the local brews and helps you pick the one that best suites you. And (fair warning-this is dramatic) I really feel that the rice balls are life changing for this Irish girl from Philly. The food always comes out hot and at the right pace. Best of all, the servers are all young, energetic and always have a smile on their faces. I will definitely be back! ”
“ I have been so anxious to go try this place.. I went with my hubby and my son (20months) .. We went at about 3pm on Presidents' Day.. About 5 other tables of people. I gave 4/5 because our service was abit slow even though there were not many other tables.. I asked for a drink menu and was told there wasn't one.. So I ordered a basic Cosmo (it was delish) but I later found a cocktail menu on the table which I would have like to order from.. Ah well. The food was amazing. We split the meatball app it was such a nostalgic feeling for me. Tastes just like my grandmothers Sunday sauce meatballs. I was very happy! Came with garlic toast, abit over cooked but the garlic taste was perfect.. I had the deluxe burger and fries it was great.. Tasted fresh. Hubby had the "farmers daughter" wrap.. He was very happy with it! My son had the corn dog and fries and he was very pleased.. My only down for that was there was only one corn dog (abit over cooked) and SO MANY FRIES) I'd be happier with maybe two smaller corn dogs mans less fries? Hmm We ordered the zeppole for dessert.. Yummy! Next time I go I'll look for that drink menu and want to hit up that skii ball!! :) All in all a good experience. ”
“ I've been here enough times now to write a solid and fair review. I will say 3.5 stars but definitely rounding up. I know that makes no sense, but go with it. I actually avoided Little Town for about 4 months after they opened based solely on the yelp reviews. I have been a bunch of times since and experiences have varied, but not too much. Here it is, plain and simple. It's a simple place, it isn't over the top, it is clean and has pretty good food. Is it Fig Tree food, no, is it Boa on the weekend, no. Is it trying to be either of those places, no. And thank god. Let it be what it wants to be, some place that has some NJ pride. If one thing Jersians have it's pride in our state and I think a restaurant that uses that as a theme is great. Anyway, the service here can be spotty. It can be stellar it can be...whomp whomp. I have had both and in between but it has never been to the point where I would walk out or hop on my high bar stool (a drunks equivalent to high horse) and complain to a manager. There is one bartender however who has such an attitude I avoid having her poor my drinks. The food is pretty good. The NJ BLT is excellent and the rice balls with PORK ROLL (I will continue this argument in every review, Pork Roll is the food, Taylor is a company, Cases also makes pork roll and so does Shop Rite but you don't call it Shop Rite Ham... anyway). The rice balls are the highlight of that menu good god are they amazing. The wings are actually damn good in a town that has surprisingly few great wing options. The burgers are average and the wrap with just eggplant and lettuce is disappointing, don't get it. It's lettuce with a sliver of eggplant. I will say this about the food, priding in NJ produce, etc. they should have some seasonal NJ dishes and a rotating menu instead of just a static menu. Change it up with the 4 seasons that NJ has, and I don't mean Frankie Valli. At night I was afraid to come here because of what I perceived may be a hardcore faux hawk bro crowd with girls in tiaras. Alas, the few times I've been here at night it is chill, and not filled with Pauly and his friends from Bayonne. They've had bands the last couple times, actual bands that play actual instruments not DJ Doucheymic. I like it here a lot and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I will drink NJ beer and eat NJ food until I puke and I'm proud of it. No Coors Lite on tap here and that is spectacular. ”
“ I watch too much trashy reality TV, and Real Housewives of New Jersey is one of my favorites. Not even going to pretend that wasn't the reason for me wanting to come to Little Town. I was a little disappointed that Caroline's meatballs and Sunday gravy were nowhere to be found on the menu, but I had the NJBLT which was fantastic. It had pork belly AND bacon. Yum. Slap avocado on pretty much anything and I'll eat it. The homemade kettle chips were good too. I also had a mojito, which at $12 is a little pricey from my perspective, but alas this is still technically New York, so I won't complain. It was also delicious and appropriately strong, so I didn't mind spending that much either. Had I had more time to spend, I may have ordered something a little more elaborate - the Brownstone Brisket sounded freakin fantastic, but I needed something small and quick as I had to fairly quickly get back on the PATH to Manhattan and make the 8:06 Metro North back to New Haven as it was the last connection to Shore Line East for the night... I sat outside, and the view of the Manhattan skyline was gorgeous. Grateful for such a nice October evening to not be freezing. I was a little concerned when I got there because the tips on Foursquare were horrendous in regards to the speed of service, but I had no complaints, I was in and out in less than half an hour! I can't wait to go back (perhaps my next trip to New York at the end of the month, since it's a quick PATH ride and 5 minute walk from Hoboken terminal) and preferably with a companion as I wanted to order the disco fries and not feel like a complete pig. A lot of the apps sounded fantastic, but I had nobody to share them with. I was a little sad that I didn't see Albie or Chris. OH WELL. The Manzos do obviously know what they're doing in the restaurant business though! ”
“ Little Town, a solid bar on Sinatra Blvd, and we needed one. I have been lucky enough to hit up this new joint twice in it's first week and unlucky enough to have never tried their food. (Boo! I'll work on that in visits to come.) In their first week, they've shown themselves as the new "it" place in Hoboken. Always crowded with a fairly decent mix of older (i.e. not 22 year-olds) folks hanging at the bar and munching away on menu items at tables. The new garage style doors with large windows opening up onto Manhattan provide amazing views and something to look at, other than the TVs showing the Pro basketball playoffs, which is a plus in my book. Since they're new, they don't quite have the beer formulas down yet, or the menu items. On their fourth night they were out of a fair number of beers and multiple sliders. However, running out of items goes along with the growing pains of any new establishment. If they're still running out of items next month, then I'd be worried. Overall, it was great to see a new place capitalizing on the priceless views of Manhattan. I can't wait to see what they do next - I'd suggest some "special" specials. For now, check out this new joint - they need a food review asap!! ”
